Known on the international marked as the “ULTRAV”, the ubiquitous light weight armored vehicle from Panhard – the VLB in French terminology – is well-designed and reliable. It gained fame in ex-Yugoslavia, serving not only with the French detachments, but also as the personal vehicle of General MacKenzie, the Canadian commander of the UNO forces.
